With a vision to feed its students with knowledge and emerge as the best choice in the education globally, MRIS generates integrated focus on academics and opportunities towards holistic student learning. In lieu of that, Spectrum was conducted for Grade KG to enhance their communication, literacy skills and confidence. The spectrum commenced with the warm welcome of parents by the class teacher and the enchanting of Gayatri Mantra, followed by a thematic symposium that included dialogues and melodious rhymes by children.

The theme of this Spectrum was “Wonders of Nature”. Our dainty little ones explained about living things, non-living things through a presentation which was followed by the beautiful rhymes. They explained how the mother Earth is being destroyed and emphasized the significance of 3Rs. The parents were elated to see their tiny tots performing with full zeal and avidity. Proceeding further, an enthralling dance performance by the kids became the soul of the show. The whole audience was awed by the amazing presentation skills and sheer confidence of the students.

The assembly was followed by an interactive session with the worthy Principal Ms. Anju Dhawan wherein an urgent need to save environment and use resources cautiously was expressed. The session aimed to motivate and encourage parents to inspire students to think intensively and analyse to protect the environment by throwing waste in trash bins and saving fuels by turning off the engines of vehicles at signals. This is what progressive education is all about and the core philosophy of MRIS.
