Manav Rachna International, Ludhiana takes pride in its aware and concerned students who vowed to celebrate ‘Green Diwali’ this year. They affirmed that the little effort of everyone may change into a big one to save Earth. Keeping this sentiment intact, a ‘Seed Bomb Activity’ was conducted at MRIS campus on 21st October, 2019. The event was initiated by FICCI FLO, Ludhiana in collaboration with ‘There for You’ foundation. Grade IV –XI was a part of this activity, wherein the students made seed bombs whole-heartedly with an intention of doing their bit for the planet. While making the seed bombs, they reiterated their belief in saving the Earth and reducing pollution through a collaborative effort.

Ms. Gitanjali Mehra, an activist who initiated the seed bomb activity throughout India stated that the children these days have to become ‘Green Warriors’ in order to save the planet. She was accompanied by Ms. Nandita Bhaskar, Chairperson, FICCI FLO and Ms. Divya Oswal, Ex-Chairperson, FICCI FLO and Trustee, ‘There for You’ foundation. They were felicitated by the school. The Principal, Ms. Anju Dhawan expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the guests and students’ for undertaking this endeavour with exemplary dedication and commitment.
