“Learning is pleasurable but involvement in an activity is the height of enjoyment.”

Learning by involvement, peer-to-peer teaching and stimulation to do best are part of the education equation. We at MRIS, Ludhiana intensely believe in personal path of questioning, investigating and reasoning as the engine for student-driven learning.

A gallery walk based on Different Folk Arts of India was conducted by the students of Grade V to make them aware about the diverse cultural heritage of our country. The students enthusiastically participated to design pictures, pots, wall hangings to depict various forms of folk arts such as Warli, Gond, Madhubani and Pattachitra. The students also narrated the origin and highlighted the significance of these art forms to the Principal. They enjoyed painting their own canvas of imagination creatively.

Principal Ms Anju Dhawan congratulated the mentor and the young students. She appreciated the efforts of the critical learners, toiling to become creative in the process of learning something new and motivated them to become skilled learners and strive to do better always.
