MRIS, Ludhiana inculcates values and life skills into the students. To escalate this belief to the next level, the concept of ‘Green Diwali’ was administrated in the class. The students of Grade IV were provided an opportunity to interview Ms. Anju Dhawan, Principal, Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana on the topic ‘Green Diwali.’ The inquisitive students asked the most thought provoking and insightful questions like: How can we celebrate ‘Green Diwali’? How can we help the less privileged people? Is it important to clean the houses only on Diwali?

Ms. Anju Dhawan motivated the students to spread happiness and warmth on this auspicious festival to the less privileged ones by sharing and caring. She encouraged the students to take a step ahead to save the environment by celebrating a cracker free Diwali. She also shared the wonderful idea of exchanging ‘Seed Bombs’ on this Diwali which will bear the fruits of love and care once they are planted and well taken care of. She appreciated everyone’s efforts and stated that such activities play a vital role in the personality development of the students.
