At Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana, young learners are provided with the opportunities to learn at their pace and show pride in whatever they have learnt.

The Students of Grade II took everyone back in time to experience the journey of life of Gautam Buddha through their wonderful presentation in CREST assembly. The young learners traced the life of Gautam Buddha by presenting short stories based on his life. The journey of becoming Lord Buddha from Prince Siddhartha was beautifully displayed through a short enactment. The Enlightenment attained by him was also depicted beautifully. The Eight Fold path given by Lord Buddha enlightened the audience. The enthusiastic learners also displayed the activities conducted in the class and shared the importance of group learning as well. The sound of Buddham Sharanam Gacchami made the whole presentation serene and calm.

The assembly culminated with a breathtaking dance performance on melodious chanting of verses of Budhham Sharanam Gacchami. The parents praised and applauded for the arduous efforts made by the students and teachers.

Principal Ms Anju Dhawan appreciated and encouraged the work done by the students. She emphasised on hands-on activities thereby stating the importance of such innovative and engaging curriculum for the learners of today.
