Celebrated Children’s Day

“There’s nothing more contagious than the laughter of young children; it doesn’t even have to matter what they’re laughing about.”

Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana celebrated Children’s Day in the school campus. Teachers stepped into children’s shoes for the day which made them feel amazed. The teachers chanted the Gayatri Mantra and apprised students of the facts related to the day and while remembering Chacha Nehru, they took a pledge of being more responsible, caring and loving human beings. The teachers presented a live band performance followed by medley of songs. A Nukkad Natak was staged by the senior wing teachers that mesmerized the students and left them spellbound leading to laughter and tears of joy rolling down their eyes.  The dance performance by the teachers was another crux that added on to the merriment of the children. A loud round of applause echoed in the campus while the teachers performed.

The entire campus was a sea of colors with all students dressed in casuals romping around where the whole space was filled with sound of music, laughter and excitement of the children. The tiny tots danced, played fun games and enjoyed their day in the specially decorated classrooms. Children were treated with chocolates to fill the day with more delight and happiness.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Rupali Saini said that every child is unique and special. She said that they win over our hearts with their angelic eyes and innocent smiles. It concluded with a valuable message by the Principal who advocated the good thought of Children’s Day is to celebrate “childhood”. Overall, it was a day filled with fun and frolic and our shining stars had a gala time at the event.
