“Creativity is as important as literacy.”

In order to make children aware of the uses of waste material and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future, a ‘Best Out of Waste’ Intra-Class Competition was organized by #MRIS Ludhiana for the budding artists of Grade I-III. Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy and displayed mind-blowing, beyond expectation, fabulous ideas. They prepared very creative and innovative models and art items from different waste materials. They used reusable and recyclable materials like newspapers, shoe boxes, water bottles and much more. From these items, they created an amazing array of display items and objects leaving everyone totally impressed. The values like preservation, recycling, conservation, rethink and reuse were imbibed on the young hearts and minds by demonstrating this noble act of caring for our environment. It was amazing to see how scrap could be transformed into such useful and beautiful articles.
