People experience stress when they feel that situations are out of their control. It is very much common in everyone’s life these days. It activates the stress hormone and, if chronic, wears down confidence, concentration and well-being. Keeping the same in mind and to share the techniques to reduce stress from lives, a workshop on ‘Stress Management At Workplace’ was conducted by Ms Tripti Sharma, EY Coordinator at MRIS-51, Gurugram.
Ms. Sharma shared that while some workplace stress is normal and excessive stress can interfere with one’s productivity and performance. It impacts your physical and emotional health, and affects your relationships and home life. The steps to protect yourself from the damaging effects of stress, improve your job satisfaction, and bolster your well-being in and out of the workplace were shared during the workshop. She shared some inspiring incidents to motivate teachers to live a happy and stress free life.
