“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops”

Teachers have a well-developed pastoral duty. They have to keep abreast with ever changing scenes of new age career options. As trusted adults, young people approach them with concerns and dilemmas, many of which relate to future aspirations. Keeping this in mind, a two-day career guidance session was conducted for the teachers of Grades VI-VIII as a prelude to career guidance in Grade 9 which is a stage of exploration.

During the 2-day session, the teachers were made aware of their roles as career guides. They were informed about the ways to apply their pedagogic skills to the delivery of career learning. The teachers enthusiastically participated and researched about the careers dominant in the upcoming AI Era. Overall, it was an enriching experience.
