An Inter Clan Group Dance Competition was held recently at MRIS-51 for the students for Grades III to V with an objective to provide a platform to hone their creative and artistic skills. This was also an opportunity for the students to display their talent. The theme of the Competition was ‘Folk Dance’. The competition was given a red flag by the Principal announcing the sequence to be followed by the Clans, which were Forest Rhinos, Air Falcons, Water Sharks and finally the Wild Cats. The competition began with great zest and excitement.
The students exhibited the different genres of folk dance. The performances were enthralling and enjoyed by all. School principal Ms. Alpana Baveja congratulated the winners, appreciated the performances and encouraged students to participate in more such competitions.
