Children from Grade-2 learnt that the Earth rotates or spins on its own axis in a cyclical fashion which results in Day and Night, and also observed the different constellations at night and learnt about the Ursa Major/Minor. Additionally, they learnt that the Moon is the only natural satellite of the earth which revolves around the Earth. Finally, they explored about the solar system and designed a mini educational kit containing the “Universe in a Box” to show things that appear in the space through the concept of “Day and Night”.
