To sensitize students towards nurturing of the environment, Manav Rachna International School, Mayfield Gardens, Sec-51, Gurugram celebrated the ‘World Environment Day’ recently. The main objective of observing this day was to bring about a change in attitude towards the environment and advocate partnership between each human being and society to ensure a safe future.

The special day revolved around the theme ‘Ecosystem Restoration’. Students from Toddlers to Grade X, observed the day through various activities which consisted- Happy Earth Sad Earth activity, news reporting on a given environment topic, poem/paragraph writing as a conservationist, blurb writing, poster Making, pictogram and poster making.

The students showed utmost enthusiasm and shared insightful ideas to create a sustainable lifestyle supporting all life forms and respecting the environment.

The event was conducted successfully with wholehearted participation and awareness for a greener world.
