“Grandparents make the world… a little softer, a little kinder and a little warmer.”

The relationship between a grandchild and a grandparent is an irreplaceable bond. Special “SAMBANDH” between grandparents and grandchildren was celebrated at MRIS – 51, Gurugram today. The students of Nursery and KG showcased heart touching performances on – ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Durga Shakti’ especially for their dadu-dadis and nanu-nanis. It was followed by the song presentation dedicated to grandparents. Little stars gave a heart rendering performance and expressed their love for them. It was evident in the wet eyes of the audience.

Different old advertisements from the grandparents’ time were played wherein grandparents guessed, enacted and sung the jingles. The students gifted glass case and key ring which they made in the class. In continuation with the celebration, Grandparents were invited to create memories for our little ones by way of story-telling session. It was delightful to witness the grandparents narrated stories to children with such fervour and enthusiasm. Time seemed inadequate to benefit from this huge treasure of love, knowledge and talent. But as they say even if you are able to get a drop from this boundless ocean, consider yourself blessed. Team MRIS-51 salutes the grand pillars of our society!
