Technology is the pen and paper of the present era; it is the lens through which we experience most of our world. It has become a necessity to excel in virtual knowledge. To achieve the goals stated above, a strong foundation in computer skills is essential at all levels. Consequently, the empowerment of school teachers with computer skills is one of the most important preparations to be made whilst introducing computers and computer-based communication in schools.

Adhering to the above statement, MRIS-51, Gurugram conducted a workshop for the teachers wherein they were given hands-on experience of the basic tools used in MS-Office. The teachers were given in-depth training related to MS-Word and MS Excel formatting table edit and calculations. The session was highly interactive.
