World Rivers Day is annually celebrated on the last Sunday in September, to create awareness to improve and protect the rivers around the world.
Spreading this message, the students of Manav Rachna International School,Sector 51 Gurugram, Grade IV-Pacific presented a class assembly on World Rivers Day. They started the assembly by highlighting some amazing facts about the rivers worldwide. There was a mime act on how pious our rivers are but due to unhealthy human activities they are getting polluted. Rap about saving water was recited by Kartik Singh. The students motivated the audience to join the mission of saving rivers with their dance presentation. The entire assembly was a delight to the audience as the performers put across the show with great ease and perfection. The school Principal Mrs Pooja Puri appreciated the efforts of the students and asked the students to make conscious efforts to save water and there by save our planet Earth.
