We at MRIS-46, Gurugram believe that ‘Every child is an artist’. Art is as natural as sunshine and as vital as nourishment. Through creative art, children represent experiences that cannot be verbalized.

The manch looked colourful and vibrant with children adorning their clan uniform.  They sat in their respective clan groups and explored different mediums of art. In accordance with the UNSDG goal to save paper, newspapers were provided to the children for the activity. They tore the newspaper and pasted it in the given picture and used crayons to colour the background thus creating beautiful pieces of art.

It was heartening to see the children working collaboratively on the activity thus, fostering the life skills of sharing, taking turns and making new friends. The canvas came to life with the hues of the Spring season. For little ones, we believe that competitions are held to show that every child’s work is appreciated, each one of them is special and each one is a winner in their own way. As a token of appreciation, a box of crayons was awarded to each budding artist.
