MRIS-46, Gurugram Conducted a Workshop on Bullying

“Bullying is not the reflection of the victim’s character, but rather a sign of the bully’s lack of character” 

Manav Rachna International School, Sector-46, Gurugram conducted a workshop on ‘Bullying’ for the students of Grade IV and V recently in collaboration with ‘Mental Health and Behavioural Science Department’, Fortis Gurgaon.

The workshop focused on empowering students by making them understand different types of Bullying which include Physical, Verbal, Social and Cyber Bullying. It also touched upon topics like how bullying impacts the Health, Social, Academic aspects and the self-esteem of the person being bullied through role plays.

Strategies to prevent bullying were also discussed with the children. Encourage the victim to face the bully, Role of Self, Approach Authority, Take Guidance, Help and Seek Support were the few pointers shared with them.

Let’s Go from BULLY to BUDDY and be a buddy, not a Bully was the message of the workshop.
