Farewell to Batch 2019-20

Man’s feelings are always purest and most glowing in the hour of meeting and of farewell”

Students of Grade XI of Manav Rachna International School, Sec-46 Gurugram bid an emotional and a buoyant farewell to their much loved and adored seniors of Batch 2019-20 recently. The grounds of the school came to life when girls adorning elegant sarees and suave gentlemen supporting tuxedos walked in to enthrall everyone with their charm. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments.

Executive Director Mr Sunny Bansal; Director Principal Ms Dhriti Malhotra; Vice Principal Ms Surabhi Joshi; and Senior Head Mistress Ms Vandana Mahajan joined in the Head Girl and Head Boy for the ceremonial cake cutting setting the stage for the event to unfold. After the first performance, the ravishing ladies set the ramp on fire with their poise as they contended for the most coveted title of the evening ‘Ms MRIS’ and the gentlemen gave stiff competition to their peers by raising the bar a little higher when it was their turn to scorch the ramp to compete for the prestigious Mr MRIS title. After a round of regaling games, foot tapping dance performances, standup comedy and heart-touching speeches by the Head Girl and Head Boy, a few innovative titles were announced. The most sought after title of Ms MRIS was bagged by Tanya Khurana while Angad Vir Singh Choudhary walked away with Mr MRIS title.

Curtains to the exuberant show were brought down by the esteemed Director Principal with her admirable and thought provoking speech which not only moved the outgoing students but also teachers to tears and the age old tradition of seniors passing on the candles to their juniors implying passing on the responsibility to them and carrying the baton further with vim, vigour and vitality.
