‘You have two hands, one to help yourself, the second to help others.’

Teachers of Nursery presented an animated role play on various community helpers in accordance with the theme, ‘Let’s Pretend’ which caught the children by surprise. Through the role play, they dramatized about how each helper plays a pivotal role in our day-to-day life. The children saw the milkman delivering milk early morning, the gardener tendering the plants, hairdresser giving everyone a pretty look and Oh yes!! If you don’t follow the traffic rules, don’t forget there’s a traffic policeman too. These were a few helpers showcased amongst many who make our lives easier each day.

Children put their thinking caps on and chose their favorite helper. They took their learning forward as they spoke confidently in front of the new audience. This activity gave them a platform wherein they enhanced their oratory skills. As a token of love, children gave  ‘#Thank You’ batches to the helpers in the school thus, valuing the #lifeskills of being thankful, kind and caring towards others.
