Malala Yousafzai, the youngest noble laureate, who became the face of girl education for her unconquerable courage was honoured by the students of Grade IV C of Manav Rachna International School, Sector-14, Faridabad through a special assembly on the occasion of her birthday.

Students of the school were enlightened with important facts about Malala Yousafzai, who has been advocating universal education and girl’s rights. Important events from the life of young, spirited Malala were also highlighted by the participants. The assembly motivated the students to stand up for what is right and to be peacemakers in every situation. Students learnt about the importance of educating girls and understood that by educating a girl, we lay the foundation of a strong nation.

Director Principal, Ms. Mamta Wadhwa appreciated the efforts of the participants and further enlightened the students about the importance of being educated and courageous enough to stand for one’s rights. She laid emphasis on the “No Touch Policy” being followed by school and encouraged students to maintain correct body posture to enhance their personality. The meritorious students were felicitated for their efforts. Overall, it was a highly informative and inspiring assembly.
