The fifth edition of Manav Rachna Model United Nations 2019 incepted today with the participation of around 400 delegates from schools across Delhi-NCR. The cheerful and confident faces of the delegates gave a beautiful start to this three-day event. An overwhelming participation of around 400 student delegates brimming with great ideas and objectives was observed on day one.
With their agendas of different nations, the delegates participated in divergent discussions and simulated the intergovernmental Organization, i.e. United Nations. MRMUN-2019 acted as a platform to deliberate on issues related to address the economic crisis, encouraging free trade with focus on liberalization, and many others. Delegates immersed themselves in the role of political heads of their respective committees.
The first day of MRMUN was adorned by the gracious presence of Ms. Mamta Wadhwa, Director Principal, MRIS-14, Faridabad who addressed the committees and motivated them to qualitatively and quantitatively ponder upon the issues.
The next two days will witness the heated debates among the students followed by a valedictory session.
