Children are particularly vulnerable to accidents, and their safety requires different approaches from those for adults. Based on the theme “Let’s keep ourselves safe”, the students of Grade II-D of MRIS-14, Faridabad gave an informative and effective presentation. Students presented effective safety measures through skit, and acronym of SAFETY. The skit highlighted the threat of injury from sharp objects, electrical wires, traffic rules etc. It drew the attention of students towards road safety and moving vehicles. Special emphasis was laid on the need for good conduct at school like climbing on chairs and desks and running on the staircase.
The presentation concluded with a mesmerizing song. The students performed confidently, with great zeal and enthusiasm. The audience was very receptive and actively enjoyed and appreciated the efforts of the young children.
School Proctor Mr. Verma and Co-scholastic Incharge addressed the students to follow the primary safety measures. They also encouraged the winners of various competitions by giving away the prizes.
