Leadership is a quality which is nurtured and has its seeds sown in the early stages of one’s life. We, at MRIS-14, hone the leadership skills of our students to make them conscientious citizens of the future. The Investiture ceremony 2019-20 was held today to bestow the student representatives with their duties and responsibilities.

The day commenced with soul-soothing rendition of the Gayatri mantra. The Guest of Honour for the day, Ms. Sanyogita Sharma- Director, MRIS, together with Ms. Mamta Wadhwa- Director Principal MRIS14, Dr. Shalini Bindra-Vice Principal, Ms. Minakshi Sharma- Headmistress lighted the auspicious lamp marking the beginning of the ceremony. As Nelson Mandela has said, “A leader is like a shepherd who stays at the back of his flock and guides them.” Our much revered Director Principal spoke to the student representatives, guiding them for their further feats, thus paving a smoother path for them.

An energetic and mind boggling performance by the school band left the audience enthralled and the newly elected council fervent and eager. A speech on ‘Facets of Leadership’ followed the performance to further update the students of their newly vested power. The Senior School Prefectorial, swore in as the new council, recognizing their duties to be the Perfect Role Models for others, be the motivators, inspirers, counselors and student coordinators.
