“Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world.”

Storytelling is an art of narrating or unfolding the narratives of a story. It is a unique human skill and is one of the oldest art forms. To acknowledge and showcase our love for stories, MRIS, Sector-14, Faridabad organized an Inter Class Hindi Comical Storytelling Competition in its premises for the students of Grade IV.

A preliminary round was conducted in the respective classes and as per the criteria, four students were selected from each class. Each participant narrated a humorous story with a moral value. The students performed spectacularly, narrating their favourite stories using voice modulation and impressive expressions. The little story-tellers won everyone’s heart and were applauded.

This competition not only helped in building the confidence of participants but also enhanced their speaking skills. While some stories gave the audience food for thought, some reinforced moral values and some had the audience in splits. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience and winners were felicitated at the end by the judges who appreciated all the participants for the hard work put in by them.
