MRIS-14 Faridabad always encourages its students to play sports. The School is already inspiring its students and has provided them the platform in the form of school ground and a world-class sports academy where they are given opportunity and freedom to choose their favourite sport and get professionally trained in it by the Professional Sports Staff. To take this initiative further, MRIS-14 has come up with another Sports Arena with Basketball and Lawn tennis Courts at The Terrace of the school building.
The Inauguration Ceremony of the same was held on 25th February, 2020. The Ceremony commenced with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony by Vice President, MREI, Dr. Amit Bhalla followed by the address to the students wherein he motivated the students to play sports to stay healthy and strong. The event progressed with the match between the School’s Basketball team and the Alumni team which started with the toss raised by our Vice President, Dr Amit Bhalla. The students who had gathered to witness the entire event joyously cheered both the teams. Witnessing the Junior Sport Stars playing Lawn Tennis and other fun games was a treat to everyone’s eyes. The idea of bringing the Sports courts at the terrace in the open space was appreciated by all as it will bring our children close to the nature helping them in their overall development. Director Principal, Ms Mamta Wadhwa; Vice Principals, Ms Shalini Bindra and Ms Monika Kathuria, Headmistress Ms Minakshi Sharma and Proctor, Mr. Verma witnessed and commended the entire event.
