Playing a sport teaches us how to win honourably, lose gracefully, respect authority, manage our time and stay together.

SPORTEK- the Annual Sports Event of Manav Rachna International School, Charmwood held recently. Everyone was filled with oodles of power, self-confidence and winning spirit. The event was graced with the eminent presence of the Chief Guest, Ms. Shagun Chowdhary, the famous Indian Shotgun Shooter and the Guest of Honour, Mr. Sarkar Talwar, Director Sports, MREI. The day also witnessed the presence of Ms. Nisha Bhalla, Executive Director of the school.

After the welcome address by the Headmistress, Ms. Maya Vijayan, well-synchronized drills including yoga, gymnastics and taekwondo by the students of Grade III-VIII left the audience spell-bound. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering with her inspiring words sharing how important it is to keep striving for betterment. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards Manav Rachna for providing her the right platform to reach great heights.

The day saw great enthusiasm and buzz as the students participated in Flat Race, Relay Race and Obstacle Race. The event was culminated with a prize distribution ceremony where school achievers, athletics winners and over-all trophies were given to different clans based on the overall points gained by a particular clan throughout the session. The parents extended their thanks to the Director, Ms. Sanyogita Sharma and her team as the event gave the students an opportunity to showcase their skills and talent.
