An Online Inter-Clan Debate Competition was organized for the students of Grade IX by Manav Rachna International School, Charmwood recently. The topic for debate was “Competition is a Necessary Part of Education Process”. The participants armed with statistics and data validated made their arguments more emphatic with excellent voice modulation and confidence.

Manav Rachna International School has set the benchmark by conducting such activities so effectively even under such unusual circumstances of the pandemic. Not only students are enjoying participating in them but such initiatives of the school have kept students, teachers and parents together. The competition began with the motivating words by Dr Suchitra Bhattacharya, Principal MRIS, Charmwood and was concluded with encouraging remarks by Ms Maya Vijayan, Headmistress MRIS, Charmwood. The debate results were announced by reiterating the words of the Principal- ‘Debating is not about winning, but about getting to the heart of the matter’.
