The Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre is an active area of adolescent welfare at Manav Rachna International School. Here, different programmes are organised for adolescents which focus on the development of inter-personal communication skills, counselling in psychological, academic & health areas and career guidance.

Plus, equity programmes involve all students in some constructive activities at the school and community levels.

These are planned scientifically in tune with student ideology and the realities of the modern world. They enable students to visualise their goals clearly and charter their future progress path.

The safety and security of each child is an area of prime concern at the school. MRIS aims to make the premises a safe, healthy place which promotes a healthy lifestyle and ensures the well being of the students, physically, mentally and spiritually. The various facets of safety include:

The number of students travelling in each bus is in accordance with the norms of the government. A helper and a maid escort the students and assist them to move in queue and maintain cleanliness. A safety kit is present in all school buses for emergency purpose. All the buses are CCTV enabled and are fitted with GPS device which helps the school keep track of the routes and communicate with the bus at all times.

To ensure security and safe learning environment the school provides an effective surveillance and security systems. These act as great deterrent factors, resulting in much better group control and a higher quality learning environment.

Fire extinguishers are installed at various places in MRIS schools. The schools hold practice fire drills to keep the students and staff familiar with the fire safety procedures, alert to fire breakout and prevent consequent loss.

Practicing safety rules in playground is imperative for the well being of the children. No hitting, play fighting or pushing is allowed and using appropriate language is essential. Since playground is a place to learn positive things, students are encouraged to play fair and exhibit sportsman spirit and team work.

Proper sanitation is important for the general well being. It is the determinant of quality of life. To promote hygiene education and sanitary habits among students, they are sensitized about the importance of these factors. The school provides clean drinking water (using RO) to the students. They are encouraged to eat healthy and have a fruit break and lunch each day. The school premises are sanitized and cleaned to ensure that the children get a conducive environment to learn and play.

To ensure that the diet of the students is healthy, a healthy menu is planned. The students are encouraged to bring fruits for the Fruit Break. The Canteen days for the students are fixed class wise. All the foods available in the canteens are supervised to ensure they are healthy and of good quality…junk food is prohibited.
