Manav Rachna International School (MRIS)-Noida and Fever 104 FM took an initiative to promote the idea of expressing opinions and thinking positively to serve society with dedication and innovation among youngsters. RJ Rahul Makin from fever 104 FM interacted with the students and occupied them in a Quiz on ‘Traffic Rules and Symbols’. The objective behind the interaction was to showcase the importance of Socialism by contributing towards the theme, ‘Bharat Positive’.
Traffic queen, Ms. Dorris Francis was invited by the School to share her contribution in shaping society. Students of MRIS-Noida performed an exceptionally motivating role play relating to the reality of traffic in society. They were extremely empathetic towards the heart melting story of Ms. Dorris Francis. However, they were blown away by the fact that despite the trauma of losing her daughter in a road accident, Ms. Francis has been voluntarily managing traffic at the same busy intersection in Ghaziabad for the past five years. She is a woman possessing exemplary strength and is an inspiration for the public. She talked at volume of her immense dedication and selfless service. Students were provided with an opportunity to interact with such an inspirational personality and learn values from her dedication and hard work.
MRIS-Noida has been awarded with an opportunity by Fever 104 FM to perform the enactment ‘Traffic life in our city’ in the finale of ‘Speaker of the year 2017’. Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Nindiya Saket, Vice Principal, MRIS-Noida, said, “Manav Rachna Educational Institutions empower its students to develop skills and imbibe values.
