To emphasize the importance of preserving water and its resources, Manav Rachna International School (MRIS), Noida has organized – “Aqua Esperanza”- An initiative for the effective management of water on December 28. Students from toddlers to Grade 10 participated in the event with full enthusiasm. The principal appreciated the efforts of students with words of encouragement and enlightenment.
Everyone is aware that, “Every drop of water is precious”, but how many of us actually contemplate the idea. It was an essential initiative taken by MRIS to spread the significant message of preservation of water. The event was inaugurated by the renowned scientist Dr. Neelima Alam, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Also present on the event were Ms. Sanyogita Sharma, Director, MRIS; Mrs. Goldy Malhotra, Director Administration, MRIS; and Mr. Lavkesh Magu, Executive Director, MRIS, Noida and other principals of MRIS. RJ Rahul Makin from Fever 104 also graced the occasion with his presence.
The students presented detailed information on water conservation through a variety of unique models. The message of ‘Save Water Save Life’ revered all over. Students who were the water controllers for the day provided information about the conservation, utilization and management of water. The creative and imaginative thoughts of the students were duly appreciated by all spectators. This exhibition left an indelible mark on everybody’s mind and forced them to ponder over effective use of water.
