Manav Rachna International school firmly believes in providing children with value-based education and make them aware of their social, moral and ethical responsibilities towards the society at large.
Taking a step in this direction, a special assembly was organized at MRIS Noida to observe ‘International Human Rights Day”.
Students of Grade 6 presented all the thirty human rights mentioned in our constitution with great enthusiasm and zest in the form of a street play and a beautiful Rap sequence. Principal Mrs. Sunanda Grover gave an inspirational and informative speech about the human rights of every individual and that it is a privilege as well a responsibility of each one of us to recognize and honour these rights.
A two-minute silence was observed during the assembly dedicated to “International Human Rights Day”, to express our deepest condolences and support to the families of the young students killed by the Taliban massacre in Peshawar, Pakistan.
Awareness of human rights and the recognition of “The right to live” as the most important of all the human rights worldwide made the students realize the magnitude of the tragedy at Peshawar.
