A Nation’s culture resides in the heart and soul of its people.
India is a land of rich Heritage and diverse Cultures. To give the children a feel of the glorious Heritage of the past and in lieu of the celebration of World Heritage Week (19th November – 25th November, 2017) the children of the Senior Wing of MRIS-Noida were taken to Qutub Minar to participate in a Drawing/ Painting competition organized by Confederation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations of India (CUCAI) in association with Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
It was organized with a lot of fervor and exuberance. Many schools participated in the event. Children showcased their talent by portraying their imagination on paper to make beautiful monuments depicting our rich Heritage. All the participants were taken for a Heritage walk after the event, followed by refreshments.
It was an extremely eventful day for the children which made them aware of our rich culture and the importance of conservation of the Indian Heritage.
