The life skill we need most is not the mastery of specific technologies, but mastery of the technique as a whole — how technology in general works. We live in a world surrounded by technology. An individual’s ability to succeed depends on his/her comfort with technology in the times to come. Regardless of whatever career the students choose, the ability to design and understand the software will be invaluable. Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana is observing “Techno Week” for pre-primary school children.

The little ones tried their hands on scribble bot which is also called scribbling robot. This friendly little robot is the perfect tool to teach counting, sequencing, estimation, problem solving and at the same time it is fun-filled activity. Children were excited to see the little scribble bot that paints on its own. They were highly excited to carry home the same as a take away craft. Throughout the week, the children will get hands-on learning experience and exposure to various techno gadgets and their usage.

Principal Dr. Rupali Saini emphasized on learning by doing through practical performance. She said that the school leaves no stone unturned to create opportunities where in children can think, reflect and develop their emotional quotient.
