“Science is simply the word we use to describe a method of organizing our curiosity.” ― Tim Minchin
To develop scientific skills and explain various concepts, scientific activities were conducted for grade IV students. Students involved in experiments to enhance their knowledge about different forms of energy. These experiments were based on the energy forms such as magnetic energy, chemical energy, heat energy, and sound energy. Working models were also prepared on the themes of sound, light and magnetic energy. Another working model of the windmill was set up to explain the concept of conservation of wind energy to students. To stimulate creative thinking in students, an engaging balloon activity was also organised that helped students to understand the concept of potential and kinetic energy. This fun-filled knowledgeable scientific session gave loads of learning to students.
