“One language sets you in a corridor for life, various languages open every door along the way”

Matribhasha Diwas (International Mother Language Day) is celebrated on February 21st all over the world with the objective of sensitizing the people on the need for the greater use of mother tongue and to impart communication skills and proficiency in mother tongue – to give a fillip to “Knowledge Creation”.

In order to strengthen this feeling of belonging towards our Mother tongue, Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana celebrated the day with full enthusiasm and love towards the nation. The event commenced with the introduction to the Celebration of Matrabhasha Diwas all over the globe. The children shared their thoughts about the importance of Mother tongue in an individual’s life. A beautiful poem in Hindi was recited, various songs were sung depicting the life of the people and soldiers at the Border from various states living as one irrespective of their religion and state.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Rupali Saini said that although the school follows International Primary Curriculum, we believe in keeping the students rooted to their culture to keep the essence of originality.
