Manav Rachna Inetrnational School leaves no stone unturned to give opportunities for experiential learning to the students. One such a platform was Project Paridhi organized at Nehru Planetarium, Ludhiana  for students of Grade V. Project Paridhi, is a flagship project of SPACE Technology & Education Pvt. Ltd, India. It was held for the very first time in the history of Ludhiana (Punjab). It was an autumn equinox on 22nd September 2015, a perfect day to perform Eratosthenes Experiment as the exact position of the Sun is known to us. The students participated actively in this project and learned to take measurements of the shadows made by the Sun to find the circumference of the Earth.They also participated in rocket-making activity and successfully launched their very first rocket. Although,students of Manav Rachna International School were the youngest among all the participating students yet their level of excitement and enthusiasm surpassed all present. They were highly appreciated for their efforts during the activity. The students were also presented with participation certificates.
