‘Literacy in a digital World’ is the slogan of this year’s International Literacy Day. The students shared the importance and need of educated man power as the greatest asset for a country. Under the Adult Education Programme, the students took the initiative to help the nannies read and write the basic sentences. Under the teaching learning exchange programme, to promote the significance of literacy for education the students visited the government school in Daad village and spent time with kids and teachers discussing the problem faced by them and conducted value-based activities to make them aware of the importance of education.  All the students of the school observed an activity termed ‘DEAR’ Drop everything and read during the zero period. The early years classrooms were abuzz with activities for the day.
