The day started by seeking the blessings of Almighty. Ram Aarti sung by the school choir brought out the essence of the festival – a celebration of life and goodness. Students talked about the significance of the festival – how good always conquered the evil and why Diwali is celebrated across India. Besides sensitizing students about the ill-effects of crackers, they also shared the guidelines on being safe while bursting them. The students showcased the spirit of Diwali through a mesmerizing dance performance. They were informed about the significance of the festival. The tiny tots dressed up as various characters from the Ramayana replicated Lord Rama’s reunion and return to Ayodhya after vanquishing Ravana in a battle, through a wonderful dance show. They were made aware about the Smokeless Diwali to protect their environment also encouraged the message of light over darkness.

Various inter-house competitions like Nukaad Natika, Diya decoration and candle decoration, Rangoli making and classroom decoration were held for students. Such events set the aesthetic ablaze among the students and promote the cultural and rich traditions of our country. The students put up their artistic acumen on display through various competitions.
