Rishiv Nayyar won accolades at Karate Championship

Sports are an integral part of curriculum at Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana. The Sports Fiesta Academy in the school premises boasts of world-class infrastructure and the dedicated coaches in town. A moment of exaltation was observed when the youngest star of the family brought laurels to the school. Rishiv Nayyar, a student of Grade- I brought a proud moment to the school by representing Punjab in 17th All India School & Senior Karate Championship “Federation Cup” organised by All India Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate-Do-Federation at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi recently. He bagged Bronze Medal in Kumite 6yrs (25K.G) category.

He also bagged GOLD MEDAL in KATA and KUMITE under the category 25 kg (6 years) at State level in KARATE Championship 2018 organised by All Punjab Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate-do Association recently. The youngest champion has been selected for National Level as well.

Eulogizing the achievement of the youngest champion, Principal Dr. Rupali Saini, averred that children at such tender age are claylike and it is our responsibility to mould them into well-rounded personalities. Dr. Saini congratulated parents and the dedicated team for the achievement of the youngest star.
