“Holi is a special time to remember those who are close to your hearts with splashing colours”

Holi Festival is a spring festival celebrated with much fervor. It signifies the victory of good over evil and the arrival of spring.

The Holi assembly at Manav Rachna International School, Sec-51, Gurugram on March 1, 2018 started with an enchanting dance performance by the students of KG followed by the depiction of ‘The legend of Hiranyakashyap and Prahlad’. The legend proves the fact that extreme devotion to God ultimately gets paid as God always takes his true devotees in his shelter. It was far above mere recreation. The values of Holika Dahan have a global significance even in present times. These were passed effortlessly to the students through the medium of this presentation.

Holi festival is the time of fun and frolic, eating and celebrating together the different colors of life. Sweets, flowers and color add to the sacredness of the festival. This spirit was shown through a wonderful Nukkad Natak presentation by the students of Grade IV.

Holi brings in the sense of togetherness, freedom and connectivity. The oneness in the hearts and warmth removes misunderstandings, if any and ushers a feeling of friendliness, love, joy and bliss which was presented through a lovely choir performance.
