The students of Class-VC, MRIS-51, Gurugram presented the morning assembly on Tolerance, Respect, Need and Want. The assembly started with the Morning Prayer followed by the news headlines and the Thought of the day given by Mahatma Gandhi. “Earth provides enough to satisfy man’s need but not man’s greed.”

On this International Day of Tolerance, the focus was on strengthening tolerance by fostering mutual understanding. Students of Grade V-C presented a short play in the class assembly and they emphasized on the importance of this day- the need to be patient, courageous and more tolerant. They also highlighted the importance of ‘Respect’ and the difference between need and want in their day-to-day life with different examples.

The assembly concluded with a melodious song on Respect by the students. The enthusiasm was evident on the young faces.
