“Meditation means dissolving the invisible walls that unawareness has built.”
School plays an important role in nurturing children to grow up into responsible adults and good human beings. For school going kids, nowadays, it is a stressful experience with worries about peer pressure, studies, future decisions, and competition. So, regular practice of meditation is the need of the hour, to reverse these negative experiences and prepare for a bright future. Meditation is also good for children to get over their stress and enhance their learning experience. Keeping this in mind, MRIS-51, Gurugram arranged a 45- minute yoga session for all the students from Toddlers to Grade VII. Sahaja Yoga has a beneficial impact on every aspect of a person’s life – that is mental, physical, material, emotional and spiritual life. The children enjoyed the session and were excited to know about healing the body from inside and being healthy. They were quite relaxed after meditating and promised to continue it on a daily basis.
