Knowledge is well gained and grasped when you experience it in reality. We at Manav Rachna International School, Sec-51, Gurugram believe in exposing our kids to the real life environment for their better tomorrow. As a part of IPC theme – Land and Transport, the Kindergarteners of MRIS-51 visited Aeroplanet, Dwarka. They got exposure to the functioning of aircrafts. They were instructed by the pilot and airhostesses.
The visit included entry with airport music, issue of boarding passes, boarding of Airbus. A 300 and CRJ 200, demo of how to use oxygen mask, life jacket and safety belt, cockpit view from inside and outside, full view of the plane from the side gallery, sliding down from aircraft, artificial fire and smoke drill in emergency cases. They got a feel of travelling by air without actually leaving the ground as one of the aircrafts was equipped with movement that mimics air turbulence. Aside from the aircraft-specific activities, students’ excitement touched the sky when they undertook activities like trampolines, balancing bars, rope trolley rides and magic show. Children returned with a smile on their faces and beautiful memories to share with their parents and friends.
