” May the wind under your wings bear you where the sun sails and the moon walks.”
Filled with great zeal, the students of Grade XII (new batch) gathered to bid farewell to the outgoing Grade XII (Batch 2017) of Manav Rachna International School, Sec-46, Gurugram recently. The event was titled as ‘Adios 2018’. The afternoon was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers and to reminisce joyous moments.
The celebration commenced with the quotes and welcoming of the chief guest. The students presented a foot tapping dance and music performance followed by a roasting session with question-answer round. The room was set ablaze when the young ladies and gentlemen walked the ramp in their beautiful attires and mesmerized the audience with their confidence, poise and glamour. It was certainly a very difficult task for the judges to shortlist the finalist.
Different titles were awarded to the students. Mr. and Miss. MRIS were won by Ratul Mehra and Tanishqa Chauhan. There were selfie corners spread out for the students to take their pictures. The Head Boy and the Head Girl delivered their heart rendering farewell speech and thanked them profusely for the wonderful arrangement. They bid adieu and passed a message for their juniors, ‘Hard work always pays and you should cherish each and every moment spent in the school.’
The celebration culminated with a beautiful poem recited by the Principal Ms. Dhriti Malhotra who in her bidding message spoke about commitment, love, trust and hope. She blessed the students and wished them well. This was followed by the cake cutting ceremony and students dancing to the beats of dhol. MRIS-46 wishes the students joy and happiness as they begin a new chapter in their life.
