Diwali Celebration For GGPS Students

‘It is not how much we give, but, how much love we put into giving’. – Mother Teresa

The students of MRIS-46, Gurugram eagerly awaited the arrival of their ‘special guests’. These special guests were none other than the students from the Government Girl Primary School, the adopted school under the aegis of Dr O.P. Bhalla Foundation to join in the Diwali celebrations.

The students of MRIS-46 welcomed them with open hearts and were the perfect hosts. There was an array of events organised for these children.

The day began with a ‘Special Diwali Assembly’ followed by lighting of candles. The guest students  spent time in different classrooms – learning, participating and interacting with the students of MRIS-46.

They bonded well over the interactive  sessions in the classrooms. They thoroughly enjoyed the session at the Art Activity Centre. It was overwhelming to see the affinity and respect among the students of the two schools. The students from Badshahpur left with happy  memories eagerly looking forward to their next visit.
