To understand the ongoing CREST topic as to  how the  ‘Indian Kitchen evolved from chullah to  the modern modular-setup’ , a Community cooking activity was organized at MRIS – 46 where children participated enthusiastically in making ‘Vegetable Pulao .

chullah was specially made a day before using cowdung and clay for the activity. The spices were pounded in mortal and pestle.The students not only shelled peas, cleaned corriander and mint leaves but also tried their hands at making green chutney using the grinding stone.
