Manav Rachna had tied up with Rolls Royce India, in Feb 2017 to implement its 100 Million Minds Project towards Innovation Projects. They handed over a challenge to a group of students from our school, with a set of problem statements. The aim was to put waste to constructive use and not just dump.
The group of students including Aman Thakur, Sonal Agarwal, Nikhil Rastogi and Aditya Gaur worked around this challenge and came up with out of the box ideas to tackle the challenge. Four students of Grade X participated as a team to make FrigusCool, an eco-cooler based on the principle of compression of air for cooling without using electricity. It is cost effective and can be easily afforded by everyone.
Many congratulations to the team on winning such a prestigious challenge.
