While learning about Renaissance period during the unit KG students were thrilled to learn and participate in a Renaissance ball. The most enjoyable moment was when they dressed up as Nobles with the masks and celebration caps, girls with neckpieces and boys with the collars created their own circle dance and steps.
Learning to be open minded, children listened to the Renaissance music and set their own dance to it which was a new experience to them. This key also made them explore about the Royal court protocol in which they became more knowledgeable about learning good manners and knowing what we are not supposed to do through a video named Berenstain Bears- Say please and thank you. Children enjoyed assembling a book on clothing at the end of the unit. And finally children put up a lovely paragon assembly displaying their good communication skills and knowledge towards the unit.
