The early morning cold could not hold the excited youngsters of MRIS-46, Gurugram as they reported to the Cariappa Parade Ground, Delhi Cant to witness the Army Commanders’ Day Parade and Investiture Ceremony.
The parade was a prelude to the Republic Day parade with various regimental contingents showcasing their impeccable and precise drills which included brilliantly coordinated ceremonial parade, show of high-level military equipments and tanks, display of daredevils on motorcycles and a demo of surgical strike operations. Valiant soldiers were invested with the Yudh Seva Service Award in the Investiture Ceremony.
The spectators were particularly awestruck with the daredevils show on motorbikes and the surgical strike demo. Their pride and faith in the Indian National Army was palpable throughout the show. This rare opportunity to witness a high standard and unique event surely left the Students breathless and inspired.
