“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”
We, at MRIS, believe in Pablo Picasso’s “Every child is an artist” philosophy. Messy play allows children to build, imagine, experience, create, investigate, explore, observe, predict and use their senses; best of all, its heaps of fun. Since we have embarked upon a new journey with our children of Nursery with the new Theme ‘Changes’, we organized a Messy Day at MRIS-21C, Faridabad for our children of Nursery, through which they experienced a day full of changes at the school.
For instance, they had fun with paint in the School Amphitheatre and a change of set-up in the classroom as well. The children gathered together in the Amphitheatre to explore art, observe how colours, shapes, impressions change, have fun and make memories. Children were excited to create art through various means like glue resist art, swipe art, thread art, fork art, fireworks art, blow art, bottle art, bubble wrap art. It was delightful to see the children thoroughly enjoying the activities. Yes, there were messy hands smeared with paints, but the smiles were worth the mess. The learning was immense and the children went back with memories to cherish forever.
